About Minnigaff

Separated from Newton Stewart by a bridge over the River Cree, Minnigaff was once a separate village but is now often seen to be a suburb of the much larger Newton Stewart. Despite this, it retains its own primary school, and this makes it a popular area for families to settle in. Buying a house in Minnigaff allows for easy access to Galloway Forest Park, and the 7Stanes mountain bike trails at Glentrool. Facilities in nearby Newton Stewart include a supermarket, three further primary schools, a secondary school and a cinema.
