Torryburn is ideal for those looking for a semi-rural location but while remaining conveniently close to both the Forth and Kincardine bridges as well as local amenities in Dunfermline.

The village itself is nestled along the north shores of the River Forth between the historic villages of Limekilns and Culross, connected via the Fife Coastal Path which also runs through the village. Property in the village ranges from small traditional cottages, apartments in the amazing Craigflower House (built by the famous architect David Bryce in 1860) as well as a range of modern houses of varying sizes; some with beautiful  views across the River.

The village has a Primary school, church and a coastal play park (refurbished in 2014) with adjoining Newmills offering additional services including pubs, shops and village hall. There is also a frequent bus service into Dunfermline.

As well as the Coastal Path, surrounding the village are numerous footpaths and areas of woodland which offer great walks and cycles for all abilities and the nearby farm has a convenient farm shop that sells a range of locally grown produce.
