About Auchencairn
Auchencairn is a small village of around 400 residents, located on the Solway Coast between Dalbeattie and Kirkcudbright. Dating back to the 17th century, this is a pretty village of whitewashed stone cottages. It has plenty to offer for outdoor enthusiasts, including walking, cycling, and pristine beaches and it also caters well for those following the South West Coastal 300 route, with a well-stocked shop and cosy pub.
