Originally a small fishing village, Pittenweem is now a sought after location in which to live in the heart of the East Neuk of Fife. A short stroll down to the busy fishing harbour gives access to the Coastal Path along the Firth of Forth. All day to day amenities can be found close by and there is a local primary school with secondary schooling available at Waid Academy in the neighbouring town of Anstruther. The nearest private educational institution is St Leonard's School in St Andrews, or there is the High School of Dundee. Cupar and St Andrews are within easy reach and Cupar also has a mainline railway station. In common with other villages in the East Neuk, many houses echo the Dutch style with crow-stepped gables and red pantiles. Viewed from above, the roofs seem to tumble down the hillside to the harbour below.
Whether you are looking for a house, flat, bungalow, apartment, new build or any other kind of property for sale or for rent, ESPC may have the one in Pittenweem that you are looking for.
