About Mennock
Mennock is a small hamlet in Nithsdale, around two miles south-east of Sanquhar. The A76 runs through Mennock, making driving easy to either Dumfries or Kilmarnock, and the nearest railway station is at Sanquhar, with connections to Dumfries, Carlisle, Kilmarnock and Glasgow.
