About Largs

Largs is a town on the Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire, about 33 miles from Glasgow. It is a popular seaside resort with a pier and historic links with the Vikings. An annual festival is held each year in early September. There is a regular ferry service to the islands and the famous Waverley Paddle Steamer makes regular trips from Largs during the summer months.  The town has a railway station, several restaurants and places to eat out including an ice cream parlour.
