Trinity is a high amenity district of Edinburgh close to the Firth of Forth and around three miles from the City Centre. It offers leafy streets and pleasant green areas including Inverleith and Victoria Parks. The Botanic Gardens are also close at hand. Property for sale in Trinity includes mainly traditional flats and Victorian villas along with a number of more modern family homes.
There is local shopping at Goldenacre and Newhaven and supermarkets nearby include Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Mark & Spencer at Craigleith Retail Park. Ocean Terminal also provides extensive retail facilities as well as a multiscreen cinema complex.
Pleasant walks can be taken along the Forth waterfront or the Water of Leith Walkway from where there is easy access to an extensive network of cycle paths. Schools in the area are highly regarded from nursery to senior levels. Regular bus services run to the City Centre and beyond.
Nearby Warriston, Craigleith and Leith are also popular with house hunters.
What the locals say
A Gabrielle, who is selling a flat in Trinity told us a little about the area:
It is a quiet, friendly community which is walkable to the city centre or by a huge choice of buses close by. Ocean Terminal nearby is great for shopping, bars, cafes, restaurants, multiplex cinema. This is at the Firth of Forth shore where you can see a variety of ships coming and going. Not to mention the permanent home of the Royal Yacht Britannia!
A short walk can be taken along the Water of Leith to "The Shore" one way, or river walks in the other direction. There is also a great network of cycle tracks nearby.
There's is so much that I could mention. I love living here!
